Frequently asked questions about automations
How do I send an automatic reminder before an event?
In the Automations tab of the event, create an email or SMS message and choose a timing, for example D-1. Sweescape calculates the send date from the event date and sends the message to the right people, with nothing else for you to do.
Which send timings are available?
Six one-click timings: seven days before, the day before, the start day, the end day, the day after and seven days after. You can also set an exact date and time.
Can I message only the people who actually came?
Yes. Each automation targets everyone on the list, only those who came or only the no-shows, based on scanned entries. Filters on your attendee columns let you narrow it down further.
How many automations can I create?
As many as you need: automations are unlimited on every event with the Advanced and Agency plans. SMS use prepaid credits.
What is the difference between an automation and a campaign?
An automation is attached to an event and goes out at a timing linked to its date: it is a service message. A campaign goes to an audience to promote a date, and measures the revenue it generates.
