Frequently asked questions about invitations
How do I manage a guest list with QR codes?
Import your guest list in CSV or Excel format into the event. Sweescape generates a unique QR code per person, which you send by email or by SMS. On the door, the SweeScan app validates each code and refuses a code that has already been used.
Can I mix guests and paid tickets on the same event?
Yes. Imported guests and ticket buyers appear in the same attendee list. Access control, export and attendance statistics cover everyone.
Can I send invitations by SMS?
Yes. The invitation can be sent by email or by SMS. The SMS contains the link to the guest's invitation page, with their QR code and the buttons to add it to Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. SMS use prepaid credits.
Can I create personalised name badges?
Yes. The badge editor positions each attendee's fields and QR code on your artwork, which you can import from Canva. Badges are generated as PDFs, ready to print.
Can I run an event without paid ticketing?
Yes. An event can be created directly from an attendee file, with no sales at all: private party, launch, premiere. You keep the invitations, the scanning and the attendance statistics.
